Changing Your Tomorrow

I ran into an old friend at a community event last week, and we spent a few minutes catching up—talking life, kids, and the usual ups and downs. But as we wrapped up and went our separate ways, one thing he said really stuck with me: “Every day feels the same, and I’m stuck.”

He said it more than once. He wants change, he wants his tomorrow to look different, but he just doesn’t know how to get there.

And honestly, that feeling isn’t rare. It’s easy to fall into a cycle where the days blur together. We have dreams, goals, and visions, but somewhere along the way, we realize our actions aren’t lining up with where we want to go.

When you find yourself in that space, here’s my encouragement: focus on your growth.

Ask yourself: What am I doing today to change my tomorrow?

If you’re not intentionally growing, then tomorrow will likely look a lot like today. Growth doesn’t just happen. No one is going to come develop you because they feel like it—you have to choose it.

Don't fall into the trap of assuming that time alone will make you better. Time only works in your favor when you're using it with intention.

So, be intentional. Don’t wait. Changing your tomorrow starts by growing, on purpose, today.
